Ellemnop hosts vibrant gallery receptions at The Healthcare Gallery, The Mental Health Gallery, and in collaboration with our partner galleries and museums. These events bring together artists, advocates, and community members to explore the intersection of creativity, wellness, and social impact. Each reception offers a welcoming space to experience powerful exhibitions, engage in meaningful conversations, and celebrate the healing potential of art.

The Stars Aren't Dying

Featuring the artwork of Megan Alannah McBride Miller

There is a moment—fleeting and furious—when a star shines at its most brilliant, radiating with a magnificence that seems infinite.  Science tells us that this is often its final act, the crescendo before collapse.  But art, like myth, resists finality.  In The Stars Aren’t Dying, this exhibition captures those luminous moments—not as endings, but as beginnings, suspended eternally in paint, pigment and cosmic abstraction.  Because through the hands of the artist, that fleeting brilliance is made eternal.

The works presented stand at the edge of collapse and creation, inviting us to look closer, to hold onto the ephemeral, and to believe—if only for a moment—that no star ever truly dies when seen through the eyes of art.  The stars aren’t dying.  They’re becoming eternal.

Expressions Of Empowerment

Featuring the artwork of Various Visual Artists

This exhibition honors the journeys of self-discovery, transformation, and inner strength—showcasing the work of women artists exploring the powerful intersection of creativity and personal growth. We are seeking original visual art that speaks to resilience, identity, healing, and empowerment in all its forms.

This closing exhibition is in conjunction with the annual Mid City, Baton Rouge art festival – White Light Night.
