Sharon Furrate Bailey was originally inspired at the age of eight after her father, Lewis Reid Brown, a commercial architect, took her to an art showing. In 2007, she began taking art clsses and is now a full-time artist. You can find her almost daily in her Woodland Art Studio in Baton Rouge, Louisiana; creating the works she is know for, which includes colorful abstracts, theme based whimisical art, and her Crawfish Series. Throughout the years, she has been commissioned and has sold to a wide variety of buyers across the United States and internationally.
