Reclaiming Voice: A Spoken Word Ritual
Sept. 23rd / 5:30pm – 7:00pm
Have you ever felt like your voice was taken from you—by trauma, by circumstance, or by the weight of all you’ve had to carry? If your truth has gone unspoken, if your words have felt buried or distant, this gathering is an invitation to begin reclaiming them. In this gentle, supportive workshop, we’ll explore the stories we carry—through memory, myth, and lived experience—and begin shaping them into truth-telling through the art of spoken word. Guided writing prompts will invite reflection on who you are, what you’ve survived, and what within you is ready to speak.
Whether you speak as yourself or through a symbolic voice, you’ll be held in a space of witnessing and reverence. This is a ritual of reclamation—for those who are seeking, healing, transforming. A space to speak your truth, to be heard, and to remember that your voice has power.
