A New Frame Of Mind
Featuring Various Visual Artists
“I had to make sure that when I was ready to pop out, I did it in the biggest way possible.” – Travis Pickett
On Friday, November 14th you are cordially invited to the opening reception for “A New Frame of Mind”. This group exhibit is a collaborative project that features my custom handmade art framing and the work of some of Louisiana’s most talented and prolific artists.
With over a decade of experience in custom framing, half a decade in behind the scenes work in museums and a lifetime of creativity, this exhibit is the perfect intersection of everything that has made me who I am today as an artist and a craftsman. There are more details to follow but in the meantime, mark your calendars and plan to experience an evening of wonder and community.

Outside The Lines...
Featuring the artwork of Betty Efferson
Every artwork in this exhibit reflects a perfect balance between precision and improvisation. The kaleidoscope is a symbol of transformation, each turn distorting what came before while creating something unexpectedly beautiful. What seemed disordered reveals its own harmonious rhythm. What appeared broken has been elegantly mended together like Kintsukuroi.
An exploration of perception that is unbound, this exhibition is not simply a collection of artworks; it is an invitation to step into the wondering world of thought, emotion, and experience as seen through the mind of an artist who refuses to color inside the lines.
This is not a journey toward resolution. It is an immersion into complexity. Welcome to the inside of the outside. Welcome to the kaleidoscope mind.

Expressions Of Empowerment
Featuring the artwork of Various Visual Artists
This exhibition honors the journeys of self-discovery, transformation, and inner strength—showcasing the work of women artists exploring the powerful intersection of creativity and personal growth. We are seeking original visual art that speaks to resilience, identity, healing, and empowerment in all its forms.
This closing exhibition is in conjunction with the annual Mid City, Baton Rouge art festival – White Light Night.
White Light Night is Mid City’s largest art festival featuring Louisiana’s best artists, makers, and more. It’s the best way to kick off your holiday shopping! Revel under the white lights adorning the streets, meet local artists, enjoy live music, and eat at Mid City’s exceptional and unique restaurants.

Gaia's Paradigm & Some Colorful S#!t
Featuring the artwork of Brea Darby
We have brought together art, science, mythology and irreverence in a playful yet thought-provoking exhibit experience of the interconnectedness of life on earth. the exhibition’s title is a riff on the boundary-pushing ideas of james lovelock’s gaia hypothesis, which theorizes that the earth and all of its ecosystems function as a self-regulating organism.
now let’s discover the exhibition’s art.
let’s explore the colorful, asymmetrical, creative web that sustains our creative ecosystem – while acknowledging the messy, unpredictable, and often absurd nature of an artist’s creative existence. how do we balance the beauty of our planet with the consequences of our actions? can we live in harmony with the earth, or are we too busy creating our own colorful messes?

Chaos & Clarity: Expressions of the Abstract
Featuring the artwork of Antione Lacey
This exhibition is built around the tension: The cord between control and freedom, submission and defiance, and as the exhibit’s title suggests; chaos and clarity. In one moment, a blooming flower lifts your state to joyful bliss; in the next, the minimal gestures of the photographer’s subject cries for immense empathy. This to-and-fro mirrors the human condition, where chaos holds the seed of insight, and where clarity emerges through conflict.
Exhibiting photographer, Antione Lacey’s lens responds to the inner landscapes of emotion, trauma, forgiveness, and survival. His works often abandon the literal while embracing spontaneity abstract rebirth.
Our world is defined by complexity. It shows that disorder and harmony can coexist and chaos’ ambiguity is not a limitation.
