New Jersey native ABE, took the opportunity to live abroad.  His destination; Egypt.  “That residency changed my life.”  And he’s correct, outside of experiencing and embracing the culture, the land also influenced his artistic style – a style often characterized as aboriginal-esque.  Since his experience in Egypt, Abe has become an LSU alumni and calls Louisiana home, in which he takes recognizable features from the culture of the deep south such as Cranes, Spanish Town Flamingos, Fleur Di Lis, Pelicans and adorns these figures in his one of kind aboriginal technique with one of the most unique tools an artist can use…A Toothpick.
