The Red Beans & Rice Heritage and Music Festival’s mission is to bring people together to enjoy one of Louisiana’s ionic cuisines.  Plus experience live music performances that showcase the diversity of Southern music traditions, and importance of preserving and celebrating these cultural aspects for future generations.  Events during this festival will take place all over Downtown.

The Louisiana Art & Science Museum (LASM) has revitalized their student art program into what is now known as, the STEAM Art Gallery. In conjunction with ELLEmnop.Art, the program will serve as an opportunity to highlight and showcase the artwork of students who excel in visual arts throughout the East Baton Rouge Parish and surrounding area’s school system.
